Getting around Staten Island is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Not the best experience. My first room smelled like marijuana and I asked to switch to another one but the second one didn’t smell any better so I gave up on it. For a high end hotel it felt run down and could use some serious upgrades and renovations. The staff were nice and friendly. Their amenities are decent. Over all below average experience for a hotel like this

It could have been much better if it wasn't for the bathtub... It's not pleasant to walk into a bathtub that looks like this (see pics). This is not a problem with a cleaning stuff. This is a a result of a neglect over a long time, by many levels. Also, the AC is very old and very loud. Bottled water cost $3. Otherwise the rooms are pleasant enough with nice furnishing and OK mattresses.

Extremely upset with our stay here. We always try to stay at Hilton hotels, but this was very disappointing. We had a long 7 hour drive when we arrived around 9:30 pm. We checked in with one of the front desk workers and went up to our room. After unpacking, we started to take showers. I noticed immediately the shower wasn’t working and was dirty. This was around 9:45 pm. My husband went down to the front desk and told them we would like another room due to the shower. Instead of giving a new room, the front desk supervisor, Rachel, told my husband that he must be using the shower incorrectly and that she won’t give us a new room. Maintenance has to view the room before giving us a new one. My husband comes back up to the room and tells me this. I found this incredibly unacceptable as it was approaching 10 pm, we had an early day the next day, and it’s not my responsibility to deal with the hotel’s broken shower. I go back downstairs with my husband. As I approach the front desk, Rachel, the front desk supervisor, does not greet me. She stands there and counts money for probably 2-3 minutes completely and rudely ignoring my presence. Finally, she asks what can she do for me, I
